Are there any delivery/ assembly costs?

Delivery within 30 miles of dealer is free. A delivery charge will apply to buildings built or delivered further than 30 miles from our location**. We can supply blocks for $2/block, due at time of delivery.

**Additional fees may apply for set up and delivery. $3.00/mile (8ft x 10ft wide), $3.50/mile (12 ft wide), $5.00/mile (14ft wide), or $7.00/mile (16ft wide) charged one way, per loaded mile (some exceptions may apply).

Will I need to get a permit for this building?

It is the responsibility of the home owner to acquire a building permit if needed. We are happy to help you as we are familiar with a lot of the cities permit laws but we recommend doing your research. Your local Building Department or Planning Office will have more information on where you should apply for your building permit. Here is an helpful link to get you started. Texas Building Permits

What should I do prior to delivery?

Make sure of the following:
-The area is level
-There is 2 feet more clearance than the building is wide where the driver is coming in to place on property
-The road leading up to, where the building will be placed, is clear of tree branches (16’ from ground)
-There are no electrical wires overhead, and the building will not be placed over any water pipes or septic systems. 

The customer is responsible for any and all permits required by the County, City, and HOA.

How long is the process from order to completion?

This can vary depending on size of building, weather, time of year. With that being said 3-4 weeks is the standard for sheds. Gazebos, greenhouses, cabanas can take up to 6 weeks.

All build times are subject to weather conditions (painting temp needs to be over 50 deg, treated wood needs to dry before it can be stained). 

Finish outs and partial finish outs, depending upon the size and options, can will take up to 8 to 12 weeks, we are subject to our vendors that are contracted for spray foam, gutters, and electrical. We will discuss time and process of completion during signing.

Can you remove my old shed?

You can hire us to remove or move a building that is not falling apart, there will have to be a site visit to determine cost and if it can be moved.

Will it be a problem if my yard is fenced in?

No, If we are unable to build the building in our shop, due to size or obstructions on your property (trees, fences, other buildings, ect.), we offer to build on site 30 miles from your dealer location.

Can you match the color of my house?

Yes of course. We have a variety of colors to choose from. With color match technology, the color choice is yours.

Do your buildings have a warranty?

Our buildings come with:
-30 year warranty on asphalt shingles
-Limited Lifetime Warranty on painted metal

Limited Warranty, this is on the main framework of the building, does not include Natural Disasters.  Some exclusions apply, see dealer for further information.  Always include your storage building on your home owners policy unless other arrangements are made.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No. You are welcome to stop by any time during our normal business hours. If you would like to meet on a Saturday at our Commerce location when we are typically closed, you are more than welcome to request an appointment. We will do all that we can to accommodate your request.
